EcoStyle Ceiling White - People Safe Paint

Rockcote EcoStyle Ceiling White is a premium quality, water-borne flat ceiling paint that is user friendly and environmentally friendly.

EcoStyle Ceiling White is for interior application only and is an Emulsion based product providing maximum adhesion to most surfaces and drying to a tough flat finish.

This ultra Low V.O.C. (Volatile Organic Compound) paint is ideal for users who are health conscious and concerned about environmental air pollution and indoor air quality.

Areas painted with EcoStyle Ceiling White have no lingering paint fumes.

EcoStyle Ceiling White is made from high grade components and provides excellent opacity.

Composition

Rockcote EcoStyle Ceiling White is composed of special new generation binder not requiring VOC solvents with titanium dioxide pigment and quality mineral extenders

Typical Uses

EcoStyle Ceiling White is for use on ceilings.

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface is free from loose material, clean, dry and free from oil and grease. Sand any non porous surfaces such as glossy painted areas. Patch and fill holes and cracks with Rockcote Sanding Patch.

For best results, sand the area to be coated to give an even finish before painting. Do not sand thepaper surface of plasterboard.

Pre-coat any absorbent plaster joints with EcoStyle Sealer/Undercoat.

Remove all mould, mildew or fungi and treat these areas with Rockcote Fungicidal Wash. EcoStyle Ceiling White does not support the growth of mould mildew or fungi.

Undercoats

Previously Painted

Best results are obtained with the application of one coat of EcoStyle Sealer Undercoat.

Plaster Board (Paper Covered)

Apply one coat of EcoStyle Sealer/Undercoat then one or two coats of EcoStyle Ceiling White.

.Cement and Fibre Cement Sheeting

Apply one coat of EcoStyle Sealer/Undercoat then one or two coats of EcoStyle Ceiling White.

Timber and Hardboard

Apply one coat of EcoStyle Sealer/Undercoat then one or two coats of EcoStyle Ceiling White.

Application

Thoroughly stir contents before use. Can be applied by brush, roller or spray. EcoStyle Ceiling White goes on with a minimum of roller spatter. Do not apply if the temperature is below 3 0C or is likely to fall below 3 0C when drying.

Limitations

• Not for use over powdery unbound or loose surfaces.
• For Internal use only.
• Not suitable for areas that may be submerged in water or subject to continual damp.

Proper disposal of excess & waste product

• If you can’t use your leftover paint give it to someone who can. Consider giving your paint to friends and neighbours or local community groups such as Scouts or charity groups undertaking community work.

• Residual small amounts of leftover paint on brushes and rollers should be wiped onto old newspaper and allowed to dry rather than being washed down the sink.

• Residual paint in the pail should be allowed to dry before disposal. Dried paint films should be disposed of in normal rubbish bins.

• Dried EcoStyle paint has very poor adhesion to the plastic pails it is sold in, so dried paint in the pail can normally be peeled off and the pail can be used for another use such as storing fishing tackle or garden tools. The pails are also approved for recycling by most municipal councils in Australia.

• Eco Style Paint is suitable for disposal through the RA Industries Reclaimer Portable Paint Wash Recycling System.
